Whisk is an experimental AI image generator from Google that invites you to upload images for inspiration instead of using text prompts.
You upload an image, and Whisk uses Google Gemini, an AI assistant, to analyze the image, create a text prompt from it, and then create an image from the text prompt. There is a high level of customization available, the ability to “remix” your images in super creative ways, and it’s incredibly fun and addictive to play with! The possibilities for coloring books is astounding.
To get started you need:
*To be located in one of the countries where Whisk is available
*Have a Google account
*Gather some references images that you have the rights to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: JPEGs work best as image prompts. If you only have a PNG and are having trouble, try saving it as a JPEG instead, and re-uploading. Using a PNG for your style prompt may cause shading that you can’t get rid of using the method demonstrated in this video.
